What does the dreambox actually do?  I have read so many claims that you can get free digital television & radio , it can connect to internet, play games, record program, etc..

Well, good question.

There are many great discussion forums which you can easily find out exactly what the dreambox are truly capable off. But just to state factually:

Dreambox is a STB (Set Top Box) which can be used to watch digital television and digital radio.  It will connect to cable or satellite and receive terrestrial broadcast.  It will connect to your network and update from internet, play games, record movies/ program to your hard drive.  You can play those back and listen to mp3 etc..It will to be honest, do a LOT more..to much to list here.

As to can the dreambox get free television and radio.  Officially, we do not support this feature and is it up to you the customer what you use your dreambox for.  We will not tell you how to get free television and radio using the dreambox, but you can learn about it on the internet freely.
